Dr. Meyerberg is a podiatric physician. A podiatric physician is a doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the foot and ankle.
Treatments may include: Prescribing medicines such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and antifungals. Biomechanical control through the use of orthoses. Surgical intervention or correction of the deformity or problem.
There are many disorders of the foot and ankle which may need to be treated by a podiatrist. It is not normal to have foot pain and discomfort. They are indicators that something may be wrong. In the case of a diabetic, vascular compromised and or neuropathic patient; minor problems may become serious ones. It is imperative that diagnosis and treatment begin as soon as posible to prevent the loss of toes, feet and posibly limbs. Foot problems are not age or gender specific either. The podiatrist is specially trained to diagnose and treat everyone.

Dr. Meyerberg is a board certified podiatrist, a "Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine" board. He is an alumni of the "New York College of Podiatric Medicine" and is residency trained. Dr. Meyerberg practices all facets of podiatric medicine and has his offices located in New Jersey.
